Academics

Science: Students will be working on their IXL's and Distrubution of Water in the World Google Slides this week. Students should work on finishing both before the end of the day on Wednesday. 

Academic Support: Students will be continuing their iReady and IXL goals in class this week. 8th grade math students should complete one reading and one math lesson this week, and Math 1 students should complete two reading lessons this week on the short week. No IXL's for math 1 students this week!

Math (Mr. Lampron): For 8th Grade Math this week we will be reviewing the questions from our NC Check-In that we did last week. Based on those scores we will be putting a focus on solving equations with variables on both sides for this week. 

There will be assignments listed in Google Classroom that students will need to complete for classwork grades. There will not be a quiz or test this week due to us only being in school Monday-Wednesday. 

Math 1 (Mrs. Jones): Refer to daily 5 p.m. Remind messages from Mrs. Jones! 

Social Studies: Students will beginning learning about America's colonial beginnings, and will have a quiz on the 13 colonies on Wednesday. 

ELA: Students should continue working on all StudySync material on poetry this week.
